Recently, I decided to get myself two external HDD carry cases along with a Earphone carry case for better portability and easy airport travels for it becomes really cumbersome to carry the original Seagate packaging boxes along with me, everytime I decide to travel across cities and not to mention the ever tangling cables.
For sometime now, Amazon has been my go to source for online shopping especially since their catalogue has undergone a major overhaul with some really amazing products making new entries. The Hard-disk carry cases which I settled on, after a long period of browsing and comparing were the ones from TIZUM and AlexVyan ( I will attach the links at the bottom of the page ) while the Earphone case was the one from Gizga.
The earphone case turned out to be better than I expected it to be. The build quality was really good with proper net and mesh frame provided inside the casing allowing one to carry USB-drives and other small cables along with an earphone. The case is shock-proof to some extent which means you can expect your earphones to be safe and sound even if you manage to drop the case.
The Hard-disk casings also turned out to be really sturdy and well-built but I think I like the one by TIZUM more than the other one especially since it scores much high in the looks department and also because it has multiple net and mesh structures inside compared to the one by AlexVyan which has only one. Also in terms of shock-proofing which is really essential for electronics items such as HDDs , the TIZUM one definitely scores more points which proper padding provided on both sides which provide ample security for your HDDs in case of jerks and other turbulence which one might experience during travel.
In terms of pricing though the AlexVyan one wins hands down costing some 80-100 bucks less than the TIZUM one , though I would still prefer the TIZUM one in terms of overall build even if it means shedding a few bucks more.
Apart from carrying HDDs, these cases can also be used to organize your other accessories and cables such as your phone charging cables as well as the chargers and your MP3 players and AAA batteries.
